Refund, refund then no refund bad communication

I cancelled my insurance with Santam because the up my premium From R2100 to R2750 because of a we don't care attitude when I enquire and said I cannot afford it... This was 01/03. They deducted R2750 on 02/04. After numerous emails they said a refund will be processed. After 5 days I asked how far it is I was told no refund is due to me and the deduction was for Feb 24. I got formal communication that my policy is cancelled 31/03 and that any deduction will be refunded. I have all emails and proof.
