Poor Service & False Advertising

I requested a quote for vehicle insurance from Santam. They couldn’t beat or match my current premium, so they asked for my existing policy to do a more in-depth comparison. After sending it through, I followed up several times over the next three days — all communication was ignored.

They are currently advertising a promotion stating that if they can’t beat your premium, they’ll send you a R500 Takealot voucher. Based on my experience, this is misleading at best — no follow-through and no voucher, just silence. Very disappointing and not what I’d expect from a company of their size.
