Poor Santam insurance panelbeaters
Very dissapointed in approved Santam vehicle panelbeaters JPS Panelbeaters in Ladysmith KZN. After Santam approved my claim 3 weeks ago, JPS contacted me last week Friday 18 October to collect vehicle. I am a student and am based in Dbn. I told them to only call me when my car is ready as I simply cannot afford to keep coming Ladysmith. Upon arrival, I found that my car bumper which was replaced was scratched. In addition, the side skirting which were not part of the rapair were also scratched. When we phoned JPS foreman, he mentioned he wouldn't think I would see scratches. Now I'm stuck in Ladysmith with no car and will probably not be able to write my campus exams. Santam has no care for clients and I will be taking my business elsewhere going forward

Afterwards I get a call from an elderly white man Mr Jacques Heyman who is handling communication between me and assessor. He becomes emotional and aggressive telling me we can fight if you want to fight on the phone and drops the call when I begin to explain to him how ridiculous Mr Maduka was this morning. In addition I ask him how am I supposed to write my exams in Dbn this week because my car will now only be ready next Monday. Also I go and ask him if he received feedback from panelbeaters as to why my car was additionally damaged whilst in their possession. Finally before he dropped the call amidst talking I asked him how can he mediate on Santam's behalf without physically going to check vehicle himself. He goes on to say he relies on communication from the panelbeaters who were the very ones responsible for damaging my car. Santam is really running an organization unprofessionally based on my recent experience and I am gonna fail my exams due to your negligence
