Pathetic turn around time on claim
Logged a claim at 10H57, told that PG Glass will attend to replacing the window. 11H24 received a call to say PG Glass will contact me. 12H40 i phoned Santam to find out when PG Glass will contact me as i have not heard anything. 12H48 received a call from Santam to say they will follow up again with PG glass and phone me back. 12H59 Santam said that PG Glass has been cancelled and Glasfit will attend to the *** Santam said Glasfit will contact me. 14H06 i phoned Santam again and asked when will Glasfit contact me and when will this be sorted out. 14H21 Santam contacted me and said they are trying to find someone to assist with replacing the window, all along i as a client have also made more than 20 calls to try and find a company that can assist me. Only after i had become highly irate had i received an SMS at 14H35 from Glasfit stating that the claim is registered and they will let me know once it is approved. WOW to my amazement i receive a call at 14H50 from the call centre 'Manager' Victor and he tells me it is definitely PG Glass and not Glasfit that will attend to my claim (this after i had just received a SMS from Glasfit). I asked Victor if he is 100% sure that it is PG Glass and not Glasfit and he stated he is sure it is PG Glass. My question to Santam is: who is actually dealing with the claim and what time was it handed to a glass fitment company as the first correspondence i received from a glass fit company was only at 14H35. P.S thank you Santam for your complete incompetence and and for making me miss a function that i should have attended. with my family. PLEASE IN FUTURE RATHER STATE THAT IT WILL BE EASIER FOR THE CLIENT TO ACTUALLY GET SOMEONE TO FIT THE GLASS THAN TRY AND WORK THROUGH SANTAM. It is now 15H13 and i am still waiting for a call from the the glass fitment company or SANTAM to say what time they will be here to replace the window.
