Pathetic service from Santam

My Isuzu bakkie insured at Santam was in an accident. I took the bakkie to a panel beater in Warrenton, but on behalf of the assesor, the bakkie was moved by Dent Doctor to Kimberley (the panel beater in Warrenton was not Isuzu approved)

I shared with the panel beater that we needed a bumper on the bakkie for protection from bushes etc. He got a bushbreaker in Kimberley and emailed the manufacturer's bill to me, I then paid the bill. Due to the specific breaker, fewer parts were used for the repair work, for which neither I nor the insurer received a discount. The assesor signed the bakkie off with the bull bar. There was a vibration on the breaker, I took the bakkie back to the panel beater, which put in reinforcements on the bushbar, the vibration got worse, so that it pulled the whole body apart. To repair the damage now costs R120 000 Isuzu claims the problem is the bushbreaker Isuzu approved. Other panel beaters claim it was poor craftsmanship from the original panel beater. I sit with a broken bakkie, which Santam does not want to repair.
