No longer worth a premium premium

Santam use to be very good, to the point of recommending them to many people. The may be more expensive than other insurers but when you need to claim they came to the party.

Not anymore.

Now they insist on their own contractors, who has no public profile nor servicing clients directly - thus excessively bias towards Santam. Even though an assessor approved a claim the "contractor" Combined Building Trades comes with a "report" to discredit the claim. I'm not allowed to submit independent opinions.

After almost 20 years with Santam I'm moving away. Insurance not good and not proper.
