No concern for there clients' security and safety

We were burgled on 1 Feb 2017 at 11:00am, I reported the theft to Santam by 14:00. Our front security door was ripped out of the wall and the front door damaged. We sent through quotes for the repairs to the front door as safety of my family is paramount. A week later Sterling Assessors arrived to do an assessment, then another week passed and another assessor was sent to determine the value of our household goods. My husband called the assessor at Sterling on 21 Feb and told them is was very unhappy as our security gate and front door have still not been repaired. He told her he would report the poor service to the CEO of Santam and she told him that she he should go ahead and do that. Today is the 24th and we approaching another weekend without security. I am disgusted in Santam and Sterling's disregard of my safety and security. I have been a client with Santam for approxiamtely 16 years but my loyalty to them is obviously of no importance. To say that we have been living on edge for 24 days due to the lack of repairs to our security is an understatement. Sadly my safety is in the hands of an assessor who has no regard for my family. I cannot believe that Santam would allow an assessor to hold the security of their clients and drag out a claim without any communication with us. UNACCEPTABLE!
