Motor Vehicle Insurance Repairs

Over 2 months ago, I had a minor accident. It took about 2 weeks for SANTAM to authorize the repairs. The repairs that were authorized were for aftermarket spares. I think this would be good for an aftermarket vehicle, but my vehicle had been insured with them from when it was purchased brand new. The Authorized repairer has had the vehicle for over a month and a half and the repairs are still not done as the aftermarket parts do not align This is my first claim on my insurance in the 7 years I have had the vehicle. I am still waiting for a definite date on which the vehicle can be collected. I cant believe that I have paid for this type of insurance for so long, and i still need to pay an excess of R4000,00 when i collect the Vehicle. This is disgusting. SANTAM I hope you are proud of this lack of service, I personally am disgusted.
