Mistreatment of 3rd party by Santam

I’m a third party

Santam policy holder ran into my parked car in February 2022. I then called Santam, only to find out nothing has been done to date. I had to call Santam myself as suggested by the broker and policy holder.

Now I have received an email from Santam saying I have agreed to waive certain rights and one of them is not to contact they client. 4 months down the line, after I had taken action. I’m getting this treatment from Santam. Can someone please step in. I live in the same complex with the Santam Policy holder.

Santam has responded privately stating that my February accident was only registered on the 18/05/2022. There was no apology on this. They have stated that someone will contact me and here I am waiting for r that call.

I will brief everyone step by step so that they’re aware of how Santam works or treats 3rd parties.

I’m on a 3rd member of Santam. The 1st lady was moved as she kept on being rude at me and not wanting to translate or explain what she meant in every step.
Was then given an African lady to attend to me. She did, took me step by step. Now boom. I’m now talking to another English speaking person who is wanting more information without explaining it or giving me a call as to what he wants.
Have sent emails asking where is the African lady to take me step by step and now one has responded yet.
Here I wait.

Hi

Your team has finally responded.

Nazeem is refusing to call me and explain the legal documents he wants from. He is refusing to put Yolisa the lady who speaks my language who helped me from the start. The scope of documents needed had changed and now one is explaining. Why the change?

Am I not South African with a right to speak and write and be communicated to in own language. Especially on legal matters?

Your experts are refusing me the opportunity to be called or for the documents sent to be explained to me in my language.

I am the one who did the follow up with Sanlam because your client and his broker said I must do so. This was after months of nothing happening from Sanlam.

Now that I am doing it. I am not being addressed in order to understand what is what.

So as Santam you’re saying that you don’t recognize that in South Africa there are 11 official languages?

That your client damaged my car and I don’t speak fluent English and when I asked to be supported by a Zulu /Xhosa speaking person in your company you don’t do so because you only work with English?
