Loyalty a forgotten attribute - disgusted client

I have been insured for household contents and vehicles by SA Underwriting Agencies (Pty) Ltd (underwritten by Santam) for over 10 years and this is the service loyalty gets you.... This year I requested them to add my 18yr old son, who has passed his drivers test and has received his license to drive, to my policy as a named driver. I WAS DENIED THIS REQUEST.

They have just forced me to cancel my policy with them because of their blatant refusal to add a legal driver to my policy. Yes, I do realise the risk is higher so charge me more. Isn't that the whole reasoning behind INSURANCE. If there was no risk there was no need for insurance.
