Lost food due to electricity failure

I am very dissatisfied with Santam for rejecting my claim. Our town recently had a flood and we were without electricity for 4 days food in the fridge and deep fridge was lost because it went bad . The power outage was caused by the flood as the flood damaged our supplier sub station. I also don't understand how Santam can pay out certain people who had the same situation but not me
