Lack of Service - Unhappy Client

I submitted a claim for a broken window on Friday 30th September 2016 (around
11am).

I was told that a provider would contact me 'soon' to arrange a
suitable time. I never received a call!
I then waited for 2 hours before I called PG Glass via the SMS i received . They said that they could
not assist me before 5pm.

I then had to call back into the "Emergency Line" to see if an alternative arrangment could be made as my house was now left standing open.
I was told that none of Santam's providers were able to assist me on the day (of the incident)
before 5 but someone could be at my house @ 5pm (which I agreed to).
The Santam consultant then phoned me 2 minutes later to say that the glass team
was first finishing up other jobs at 5 and could only come after they
had completed these....
I had made prior arrangements and was not able to be home much longer
after 5pm.

I then called back into your "Emergency Line" and spoke to another
consultant that arranged for someone to come out on Saturday Morning. I
instructed that it had to be before 12 as I had prior commitments.
No one pitched by 12 and no one bothered to notify me and I then had to make contact with your "Emergency
Line" yet again ... I made another arrangement with a Santam consultant that someone could come
out on Monday morning (I specified a time of between 8:00am and
11:30am)...

On Saturday, I received a call at 4pm from PG Glass,
asking for directions to my home...at which point I was no where near my house.

Is there no communication between Santam and their providers?

Monday (3rd October) came and I received no feedback at all and to my 'surprise', no one pitched yet again

I then had to put in a days leave so that I could be at home (the entire day) in anticipation of your providers coming out to repair my window. No one contacted me at all.

It is now Tuesday night.... I made contact with your emergency line yet again today and I was told that I would receive a call shortly from PG Glass (Michelle).

I only received a call from PG Glass @ 15:26 today (4th) and Michelle told me that she would send a team to my house this evening just after 17:00.

It is now after 20:00 and I still have no Window....

I sent 2 emails to ********** detailing everything that had happend since Friday and I received no feedback. No email confirming that they had received it, no call to say that my issue will be dealt with.... nothing!

I have not had a window in my door since Friday morning and have been
pushed from pillar to post. I have been very patient thus far, but this
kind of service (or lack thereof) is unacceptable.

Am I still supposed to pay an excess of R500 for such pathetic service??
Bearing in mind my time and money that I have wasted (Including the
number of calls that I had to make to your "Emergency Line" to get
feedback). This is has been nothing but a Financial black-hole for me.

Seriously considering moving providers
