It Helps to Lie
Extremely dissatisfied with the cover provided. Service was good however being honest about there being no forced entry into my garage has lead that under half of my claim will be covered meaning that I am suffering losses as a result of a crime being committed on my private property but the insurance wants there to be forced entry meaning more damage to my property and thus a larger claim being submitted before I am covered. WIll be looking for a different insurer.

21 Dec 2022, 12:32Good afternoon,
Thank you for your review.
Unfortunately the policy contract is very clear in respect of the cover provided based on the particular circumstances applicable to the loss.
If there had been no forcible an violent entry into your garage, and this garage is free standing from the main residence, or even attached, but with no direct access to the main residence, then the claim/loss will be limited as noted in your policy contract.
However, please provide us with either your policy or claim number to allow us to investigate and provide proper feedback on the reasons why?
Thank you and kind regards
