If you want poor service go to Santam

Throughout my over 3 years insurance with Santam I had not claimed and paid my premium in full never skipped a month. When I claimed in January 13th my car was written off and only got my payout on 9 February. Almost a month of claiming! Then 25 February they still debit my account for a car that they wrote off and no longer exists! When I call to find out they say refund will take 7-14 days! And that my broker or myself were responsible for cancelling the insurance! What do you mean. You accessed the car, you settled my claim and you still want me to call and cancel! I’m extremely disappointed and appalled by this insurance. I bought a new car I will not be insuring it this them again!
