House claims

Am currently fuming at the visit that I got from my insurance company (SANTAM). I was told that my house is not covered because of maintenance mind you am paying R1500 every month religiously for a year plus.I was not informed and not impressed because I thought insurance is there for the unforeseen circumstances.My incident is being compared to a car with finished tires of a car, this two situations have nothing to do with each other OUTSURANCE please save me.
