GROSS VIOLATION OF PRIVACY - ARE YOU ALSO A VICTIM???

<p>BE AWARE SANTAM HAD NO REGARD FOR MY PRIVACY, ARE YOU ALSO A VICTIM????</p> <p> </p> <p>Due to the limited amount of characters I will keep the issue short (I have been trying to resolve it with them for 3 months already):</p> <p> </p> <p>FIRST they did a credit check on my name without permission (this they denied to the FSB initially but later and now accept they have done. I am not a client of theirs, I have not requested a quote or have a broker that could have done this on my behalf.) To this they extended an apology for the inconvenience caused, stated they had the enquiry removed from my credit record and attributed it to a admin error that will be investigated. I requested rejected the apology and asked they come back with something better.</p> <p>SECONDLY they phoned me today stating the same 3 things again and that they stand by that. I noticed a difference in the call quality, which I asked if they are making a recording, which Jo-Anne Abrahams agreed to. Another ******** act because they did not ask for my permission to record the call!!! She admitted to this and said "you also have access to this call", like that clears them of any wrong doing.</p> <p> </p> <p>Santam and/or some employee of them or whoever it was sent to is sitting with my private information and I need to be happy with an apology!? You need to check your credit report to see if they have not done a credit check on you without any consent too!</p> <p> </p> <p>The fact that they recorded our call this morning without my permission confirms this company has little regard for the laws of our country and no regard for the public interest!!! Have they done the same to you???</p> <p> </p> <p>I reported it to FSB and they have not been of much assistance unfortunately.</p>
