Great Service from Santam

I was dissatisfied with my current Short term Insurance provider when I amended my policy to add 2 items, new Gravel bike and iPhone. The amended quote was incorrect as they added the gravel bike for R3,200 instead of R32,000. I was informed it was a glitch in the system and it would be corrected by Monday, after the weekend. Experienced the same issue and decided to get an alternate Quotation as The additional items increased my premiums, hugely. I called Santam left my details and I received the callback within minutes from Tamara Solomons. She took all my info required, Cars, Contents, Bicycles, Phones, etc. and I had an alternate quote within an hour. Wow, was I surprised at the new quotation, read all the details, called my current insurance company and terminated my insurance policy with immediate effect. I was contacted by cancellations department for reasons of termination, explained service plus cost of premium vs new pricing from Santam. They added additional discounted based on my history but still could not match Santam's proposal. Activated Santam policy same day and my savings was approx. R800 a month.
