I experienced damage to my car tyre due to uneven road surface, the shoulder of the tyre had been cut and was irreparable. I took photos of the tyre and obtained a quote. I contacted Santam of which furnished me with a claim number and promised feedback within 5 days. On the 5th day I was contacted and notified that the claim was appointed to an assessor. The following week the claim was settled and finalized. I would like to thank Santam and the team who handled the claim in a professional and dignified manner. I’ve been insured with various companies for the last 20 years and had difficulty when claiming although being a paying client for years, however Santam has proved to be Insurance good and proper.
