Good and proper

Hello I would just like to make this short testimony about Santam Insurance. I was involved in an accident on 13 July 2019. I immediately contact my insurer, Santam and a claim was registered with claim number ***. The accident was quite serious so I anticipated that the process might be longer than it may take in a small claim, and so it did take a bit of time. There was also a third party who made false statements which brought further delays to the claim. I would like to commend the high level of professionalism from all the people who dealt with my claim at Santam. Nina Zembe, the lady who took care of the admin side of the claim. Corrie van Rooyen, the Motor Field Assessor who attended to the field and accident validation processes, absolute professional. Robert De Klerk, Motor Assessor who assessed the vehicle damage, very professional guy. Aliah Rasool, Motor Wreck Administrator who settled the claim, very professional. We complain about insurance all the time, but these men and women from Santam proved that there are still people who are committed to delivery, fairness and professionalism in the insurance industry. Yes the claim took almost two months to finalize because it is a big claim and certain things needed to be checked out and certain processes needed to be followed. I got a little frustrated at time, but it was knowing that the claim is being attended that kept me calm. There is nothing frustrating like not being updated. In the end, the claim was settled in about 45 days, fairly and I am happy. I am in the process of shopping for a new vehicle and I will go back to Santam as an insurer of choice, yes they may view me as high risk from now and may punish me with a hefty premium, but that is okay with me the experience of knowing you are dealing with professionals and not greedy people should outweigh concerns about high premium.
