Frustrated is an understatement

>Was involved in an unprovoked petty collision (almost a year ago) where a truck driver decided to reverse into my car, damaging the radiator …. I called Santam to no avail, finally managed to get a hold of one of their staff, who referred me to a reportedly approved penalbeater (turns out the penalbeater wasn’t even approved😒). Anyway, the car was repaired after 2months and get this, Santam had still not liaised with the 3rd party regarding the matter, even when Id given them all the information they’d requested. They’d ignore my enquiries to the point where the manager even hung up on me upon raising my concerns..You’d think they care about their reputation

>It gets better, my car was dented by a swingy gate, I contacted Santam. They were on top of things 🙌🏽 and instructed me to go to the beater 12/12/24. Drove +/- 400km only top find that they closed on the 13/12/24😫 for the festives…

Guess it’s time to switch insurance.
