********** payouts using my account details?
I took out travel and medical insurance with SANTAM’s TIC in June 2018 and landed up paying nearly R1000 for it. I was told it was so expensive as it was the best. I slipped a disc in my back during the trip, landed up in ER and had an MRI. TIC kept me running all over the place to unsuccessful appointments that didn’t happen as payments weren’t authorised and I was out of action for about 2 months due to extreme back pain. When eventually the MRI scan revealed that regular weekly sessions at a physiothe****** would rectify my slipped disc, they paid for two sessions and then refused to authorise anymore. Nearly 2 years later I still have reoccurring problems with my back because it was not dealt with promptly. Anyhow I complained about Santam on HelloPeter and shortly after that I was refused access. No doubt Santam pulled strings to have the complaints removed. Anyhow this is a complaint of of a different issue now as last year I received notification of a settlement payment of a large sum of funds to me but it was not my bank it was deposited in. I queried it and I was told to ignore it. Today I’ve just received another notification that R3,351 has been deposited into an FNB account which is not mine. Copied from the statement I received: *** First National Bank ***/02/14 *** Settlement amount: ZAR 3,351.48 Account holder: MSO - South Africa Requisition: B*** ZAR 3,351.48
MSO was the company that was supposed to be sorting out my physiotherapy sessions but refused to continue. Knowing of the extreme amount of ***** that goes on within SA corporations, I can only assume that either these are funds that were meant for me but are being passed into MSO / someone else’s bank account **********ly or my name and data are being used for ********** claims by MSO? This should really be looked into! I Also feel really disconcerted that this company still has all my personal and private data on its data base...
