Fantastic agent

I investigated an alternative insurer for my house after Absa Insurance increased my premium by between 15 and 20% each year for the past 5 years and refused to negotiate. I contacted a number of insurers but the only agent who continually assisted me through the whole process was from Santam. Not only did he assist me, he also sorted out the transfer from Absa Insurance. He was knowledgeable regarding the requirements for insurance transfer when there is a bond on the house, something none of the other insurer agents seemed to understand. Other insurers either didn't respond to my requests for call backs (Momentum, that's you) or did an assessment and then never responded after I requested the quote via email (Discovery, I'm looking at you). Outsurance, you were way too expensive. Santam, your agent went beyond the call of duty (he deserves his commission and more) and your premiums were 37% cheaper than Absa. Will be looking at moving all my insurance across from other insurers to Santam.
