Electrical issue Claim,

I have had household insurance with Santam for almost 20 years, and just one day of a claim is making me look for new insurance. Put in a claim for a household item that can't be fixed due to an Electrical issue. Santam claims that it might have been due to Load Shedding??? Like ***!! We haven't had that **** for almost a year. The consultant explained that every policy with Santam has been modified due to Load Shedding an Excess of R2500, had been added to my policy. But due to us not having Load Shedding anymore, they don't want to amend it back and they don't care, you'll just have to accept that you have an excess amount if it's an Electronic issue.
