Duck and diving

I took a car insurance with Santam through a broker last year in April 2016. I specifically requested car hire on my policy. Santam called me back a few days later to confirm the policy, I remember vividly telling them that the only thing important with my policy is the car hire. I even said I do not want to find myself stranded after an accident. On Tuesday I was involved in an accident a taxi bashed my car from behind. Then I called my santam they sent me from pillar to post. They told me I have signed up with the broker. I told them about the call they gave me and the conversation I had with them . I was sent from one agent to another the whole day . I even asked them to review the conversation they ducked and dive. Now I am sitting here carless and could not move around. I am really angry and helpless.
