Double debit

I recently joined santam insurance on the 23 August 2024, I understand that they need to deduct a pro rated amount of which they deducted the pro rated amount and also the september installment amounting to R 3841, my monthly debit order date is on the 5 th of each month, now they deducted again the installment of R 2964 on the 5th which they are stating is for October 2024, since when do insurance deduct two months in advance. This looks like it will be a very short relationship as I will move from Santam as they are the only insurance that deducts two months in advance.
