DO yourself a favour and DO NOT insure with santam
Please do yourself a favour! DO NOT insure with santam. ludwe busulu, dorothy hendricks, charmaine theron, tasleem bester and basically the rest of the santam crew will make sure that they keep santam's payouts to and absolute minimum. Before they send people to your property, they have a claim budget, I have proof of this in a power surge report. They don't come out to your property for an assessment, however when there's a problem, they throw every loophole at you in order to get out of paying, including sending plumber's and electrical companies who compose reports that are untrue and fabricated. Please do your homework! I firmly believe that we need to start a class action lawsuit against the likes of santam. Drained and traumatized by the past couple of months dealing with a power surge, a burst pool pipe/ damage due to excessive rainfall.
Do yourself a favour please do not insure with santam.

So I Call satam yesterday afternoon to cancel the existing policy that we have with them, only to find out that a note was placed on record to cancel the policy, this was done after I gave them a zero.
A response was sent saying someone would contact me, so you know that's not happened.
They sent and engineering company who did an assessment on my property less than 2 days after extremely heavy rainfall, and then send a letter of rejection based on his report saying that we are not covered!
I refuse to back down based on the the behaviour of people like ludwe busulu, charmaine theron, tasleem bester, dorothy hendricks.
santam is in the business of growing money not spending money on clients who have claims that's going to throw out their budget limit for client payouts.
DO yourself a favour, do your homework!
I will sell my home if needs be in order to fight santam!
I will sue you for the exesive trauma you have caused!
