Do not use Santam they do not pay

We have a ******* for a burst Geyser and it for my Dads place, he is 67 years old. The Claims Clerk assigned to the claim told me she will not pay out the claim. People be careful using Santam as they say one thing but practice another. I am insured with Discovery and they are amazing. you will never have an issue. The lady Vicki Nzuza attended to the claim at Santam and we received the worst service ever. i will be moving my dad's insurance from them to discovery I then received a call from a lady by the name of Irene who spoke very nicely but they still do not want to pay out the claim. So Santam change their policy according to Irene where they no longer do cash settlements, this correspondence was sent to brokers and not to direct clients. If we had known this we would have moved insurance companies by now.

Please note, We will be posting this on every social media account where we see Santam. I told the lady that we will do this and she was ok with it. We will post this issue on the CEOs MD and everyone high enough. Linked in facebook etc
