Dissatisfaction of Santam's services

Dissatisfaction about santam's treatment towards our claim and rejection on the basis of baseless and non-factual allegations of drunk driving without proof or evidence. We were involved in an incident with an e-hailing toyota sedan in Tshwane cbd on the morning of 16 july, we got ****** of our phone by supposedly "car guards" who smokes drugs and other intoxicating substances immediately after the collision and made it off under the Nelson Mandela drive bridge.

Santam apparently used one of them as an eye witness to their investigation 2 weeks after the incident and had later changed their statement and said they used the 3rd party as an eye witness, yet they said they can't use the 3rd party as he stands to benefit from this directly, not to mention the paramedic (s)that never offered their services but had the decency to lie about us.

Santam insist on rejecting the claim even after we had vehemently refuted those allegations from the third party claimants, this has caused us emotionally and financially over the period of time as we had to resort to other modes of transportation and to move around with kids that go to school and us traveling to work and other activities that we normally use the car for.

After being such loyal clients to them, i am so disappointed and disgusted by their greed for profit making and not keeping to their promises of offering clients peace of mind and good service delivery or better customer retention. Nowhere on their policy is outlined that they reserve the right to reject claims based on allegations without proof but they went against their own policy or contractual obligation to reject our claim.

After their investigations, there was no any wrong doing on our side or atleast that was outlined but they insist of rejecting the claim.
