Dishonest insurance company - SANTAM

I have moved to this insurance end of November 2022 and my car some insured value was R66 000 and my car got written off in January 2023 and now suddenly my cars value has depreciated with about R6000 in less in 2 months time. When I ask how is that even possible, they can't explain. They say I must ask the assessor I tell them i just need an explanation of how did my car lose value with 10% in 2 months time and that's all I need to understand

The I don't care attitude, from the agent by the name of Sharlin makes it even worse! They told me straight they don't know how they value depreciated with that amount in 2 months time then they want me to ask the assessors.

This clearly means they are bulls hitting their clients. In this case obviously the assessor will tell me about the value of my car according to them at the moment which i don't have a problem with but my issue is that the insurance can't explain the depreciation of such amount in a short space of time. I'm not insured with "PJ Du Preez motor assessors" but SANTAM. Almost evetime I call SANTAM they refer me to PJ's
