Disappointing Santam insurance service

our entire home was totally flooded by a downpour of extreme rain where 5 people actually lost their lives in April 2024 and it has been an awful experience to say the least in dealing with these insurers. they had to be 'chased' all the way, they did not follow up, they did not keep to their word. it was such an unprofessional experience and i will be looking to change to a different insurer especially now that they have hiked my monthly premium by more than 4k per month. the last two damaged items that need to be uplifted are still at our home and there is zero communication from their side as usual. very disappointed. i will definitely not recommend them and i will be sharing this experience with all my friends, family, colleagues and patients.
