disappointed with my insurance

I made a claim with Santam yesterday for them to arrange car hire for me through a guy called Derrick and he said I must call this morning just to confirm. I called and nothing was arranged for me as now I needed that car to get to work. My employer is disappointed as it looks like I extended my weekend...please help
