Disappointed

I'm so disappointed with Santam, my gate broke down on Friday n it was reported to the insurance. They gave me a claim no *** handled by Roxy Claasen. Today I was told my claim is cancelled because the insurance doesn't cover wear and tear. Maybe I don't understand wear and tear, as far as I understand it supposed to be something that falls under your normal maintenance but my gate motor it is a mechanical failure, inside the motor the gears are worn out however they're well greased. it is so disappointing that we have to always fight for everything even when we are in need of the insurance to give us a relief.
