Deregistration Certificate

I was insured with Santam until 2014 after my vehicle was involved in a minor accident with few scratches. I was told the vehicle was written off. I then indicated that i will buy the s**** and it was sold back to me. I fixed the scratches and continue using the car. This year when i go to the licensing department to renew my disc i was informed that Santam de-registered my car on the 29 March 2019 and i must get de-registration certificate. I tried to contact Santam many times and no one is willing to help me. they told me that they do not have a record anymore since the incident happened over 5 years ago. I told them that they only de-register my vehicle last year and nothing was communicated to me. Until today i am frustrated with the vehicle standing in my yard and i cannot renew the disc. No one from Santam seem to be interested. I am disappointed on the service i have been offered because they were supposed to print the certificate and send it back to me. Pandelani Mushiane ***)
