Day light *******

I am insured with Santam through a broker, my husband was involved in a car accident on the 1st november and we were informed a week later that the car was going to be written off. On the 11th November we received our pay out. We purchased a new car and covered it with Santam again but at the end of november we were charged for the new car for november and december but did not receive the amount dur on the written off car for the balance of november. According to my broker they do not refund as the car was covered but this is day light ******* as there was nothing to insure after the payout
