Colluding

Head office had a hand in resolving my claim, thanks. Now it seems SANTAM is colluding with panelbeaters to reduce their responsibility in not even paying for the lowest quote, but bringing cost down and neglecting specified work to be done as quoted to ensure my vehicle is repaired to its previous state. I am concerned about safety that is not considered and shortcuts taken, I didn't ask your client to ram in to the back of my car.

Dear Wayne,

Thank you for your post. Please take note that the assessor appointed discussed the quote with the repairer and they have agreed on the amount you have received as offer from our legal department.

The repairer agreed to repair your vehicle for the amount offered. Your vehicle is out of warranty so we are not obliged to replace with new parts but may make use of second hand or certified aftermarket parts. If the repairer strips the vehicle and find other damage, related to the accident, he will contact the assessor who will add this to the quote and the additional will be paid to you.

Safety and quality should not be compromised therefore it will always be discussed with the repairer and agreed before proceeding with settlement offer.

Trust you find this in order?

Thank you kindly.

No one asked for new parts, show you how far you of the ball, indicates a lack of intelegence are you the best SANTAM employee. You have colluded with panelbeaters to reduce repare cost cutting out certain repairs quoted. I will take the offer but remember my name it will be spoken in your passages. I will report this case to the ombudsmen and the panelbeaters to their association and do not forget Carte Blanche.
