Claim not approved due to under insured

We had an earthquake in the north west province late last year and noticed a cracks had developed in my walls of my house. I called and reported the damage in Jan 2015, sent photos etc to my Broker VNM brokers, Alwyn tell ***, in Rustenburg, claim was opened will claim number ***, my policy number ***/m. the broker came back to me now stating that claim not approved due to under insured. I have been insured and have paid all the premiums for at least 3 years and this is my first claim against the insurance company and now they are not prepared to repair. I feel that now that i need to be covered for the damage the insurance company is not taking responsibility. I would like to inform the rest of south africa to be aware for SANTUM. they do not cover you in time of need. they look for all loops holes now to come out for the repair. I have been patient to hear from them and have waited for almost 2 months for an answer and to repair and still not repaired and now they are not taking responsibility. The assessor reported that SANTUM wanted to do cosmetic repairs only on the house, not to attend to the problem after all i was insured for all damage.
