Claim and you become unprofitable!
Once you claim (the reason why you bought coverage) - apparently too many times or of a certain value? - Santam informs you they no longer want your business as you became unprofitable to them! Imagine! You are OK as long as you pay them every month and do NOT use the product you paid for - not acceptable and cover stopped!!

13 Feb 2023, 12:42Cancellation of Policy Please refer to Santam policy number ****** and in particular the General Condition pertaining to the said portfolio. Following careful consideration, we regret to advise you that the above mentioned policy will be cancelled effective 1 st March 2023. This unfortunate decision was made after careful evaluation in respect of premium vs profitability. We advise that you as a matter of urgency make alternative arrangements to ensure that your assets remain insured and in particular after the cancellation date. Yours sincerely Santam contact centre.
