Changed Debit Order Date by 1 day and Billed Again and a strike to my name, for a random debit order I was not warned of.

I started a new job that pays on the 1st of a month and I requested my debit order date be moved to the 2nd. Which it was confirmed. But then I got debited again for this month. Which bounced, as it is late in the month and I am being strict with my cash. Why have I been debited twice? And now I have a debit order strike against my name. When the broker called your support team, the answer they got was make it back to the 1st or it double debits you. What nonsense is that? I will pay the second debit which will be way above what I can budget for. But I expect no debit order for August or a refund for the extra debit I will incure and the harm to my name from the bound rectified, or I will take my insurance elsewhere. This is borderline theft hidden behind ******** answers, it it doesn't reflect twice on top of unnecessary damage to my credit scores.
