CAR INSURANCE: SECOND TRACKER
Santam Insurance is forcing car owners via brokers to install a second tracker system in cars with a value 》R500 000. What is the purpose of having a first tracker installed if it can be disabled by *********. Why did you Santam not push back to Tracker Companies to ensure that their trackers are adhering to your standards or SABS standards (wonder if they still exist? :)) instead of pushing the additional costs down on car owners to pay for a second tracker. In a month or 2 you will force us to install a third tracker or ask us to remove our car wheels when we are in public, my point being - what is next Santam? What discussions did you have with tracker companies like Cartrack etc, if any at all. No one protects the consumer / car owner and we are seen as an easy income generated asset ... let the consumer pay up... Not happy with your decision.
Best regards,
