Cancelation of a policy

Hi, I recently called Santam to have my house cover canceled for the end of October 2023 since there was a 50% price increase which is ridiculous.

After a few days, I called back to have the policy reinstated, I spoke to Akhona on the 29th Oct, then Ncebakazi on the 31st October, and finally Sipho on the 1st of November. Each time I waited on line and was told that someone will call me back to give me feedback as the policy was referred to underwriting.

No one confirmed that the cancellation can not be removed and the policy will have to be canceled. This is very frustrating as a customer and I’m not happy with the service.
