Burst pool pipe
Burst swimming pool pipe: I decided to write this after, reading some reviews that are extremely similar to mine. Santam or rather the individuals who represent them, have got to be the worse kind, Ludwe busulu, who one client said conned him to settle for a certain amount, sent a plumbing company to my home, and that person took a picture +- 30 feet from where the issues were, then drew up a report, that seemingly contradicts the pool companies report that was accepted as burst pool pipe. There's an engineer's report that they have that clearly states that whatever took place, was as a result of the heavy rains a few weeks before being the cause of the burst pipe. Roxy Classen, sends mean email today, stating the claim has been rejected due to no burst pipe.
What a joke! They point out a clause in the policy, stating that there's no cover under that, however the moisture in the soil was from the extreme heavy downpour a few weeks ago causing all sorts of damages including the burst pipe.
Ludwe basulu already made up his mind ages ago without any facts that the claim should be rejected, there's an email relating to same.
I honestly believed that santam was the #1 insurance company in our country, however I see now as I read my fellow South Africans reviews about them, that they use the same dirty tricks on us all. I can also tell you about what happened with the claim regarding a power surge that I had a few weeks ago.
The consultants including Dorothy the claims manager tell untrue stories, ask them to go back to the call recordings if they want to hear the truth!... KB

29 Sept 2023, 19:53So today, I discovered that the claim for my burst pool pipe, was closed on the 13/09/2023 which I find extremely strange, as the plumber sent to my home by ludwe busulu, contacted me on 21/09/23
As indicated I received an email f om roxy klassen, stating that the claim was rejected because there was no burst pipe and a clause in the policy was highlighted stating that we are not covered not to mention I was previously informed that she was no longer working on the claim.
Stephen promised to call me yesterday failing which, by today Friday 29 September 2023.
Please do yourself a favour pa attention to reviews by clients, nobody ever wants to come on these platforms and write a negative report just because!
There so much more I could write about, but perhaps one just needs to resort to legal action as this lot prides themselves in exhausting the client into curling up and rolling over.
Currently shopping around for a new insurance company.
Will not let this go through! KB
