Building insurance misleading

<p>I've got building insurance as part of my insurance package which includes a section advertised as "The tracing of leaks and necessary repair costs"</p> <p>My shower floor is leaking and I've been informed that this is a maintenance issue and not covered. Leaks are only for pipes. I only bought my house a year ago so how was I suppose to do maintenance to avoid this happening. </p> <p>This is really misleading advertising which does not stipulate what type of leaks are excluded.</p>
