Beware what you pay for

If you have a built up house..... Be careful of insurance. My home is 20 years old... I had an issue with Dampness in the bathroom 2 years ago..... I insured with Santam 2 years ago and had the problem sorted via Salam service provider which was my cost... This year in Feb 2025...had a problem with water seeping into my main bedroom and walls and Bic had dampness damage... Sent fresh pics in Feb.. Only to be told in June that it's not covered as the drainage is suddenly inadequate and problems are old and neglected . Hence no coverage.... So beware... premiums were being collected by Sanlam though.....
