Bandaid instead of fix

We used our 2 of our 3 free home assistance call outs on the gate motor not working first teh service provider arrived and did not check the gate but rather the drain, we then managed to get then back for the gate it only worked for a few week maybe 2 or 3 weeks now its broken again and I have no more call outs left and the gate is still broken
