Bad service from Santam

On 17 November 2021 my wall at the back collapsed due to a heavy storm. I immediately reported it to my broker which in turn reported the following day to Santam. I received a reference number soon after and was told that Santam will be in contact with me. However, a contractor called me on the 18th and informed me that someone will come and look at the damage. Late that afternoon an apparent assessor came to inspect the damage. At the time I really thought this was very effecient service. I downloaded the Santam app to keep track of the progress of the claim. On 19 November 2021 I noticed that a quote was uploaded. By 23 November I haven't heard anything about the claim and followed up with my broker who in turn followed up with Santam. On 24 November a lady called me and informed me that they will send an assessor to assess the damage. This when I realised the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. I informed her there was already an assessor that came out on the 18th. I was not happy about this but they must please get this done as soon as possible because of the security risk at stake. By 26 November 2021 no one contacted me and again reported this to my broker. She followed up and late on Friday the assessor eventually called to make an appointment for 29 November and will visit in the morning. Although he finally arrived at around 14:00, I haven't heard from him since. So basically 2 weeks later my claim is still floating around, my wall still down and we are at risk. I made it very clear when I submitted my claim that there is a security risk at stake. 2 weeks to deal with a claim is unacceptable. How long still will this take. Fed up with bad service. Not happy at all with Santam.
