Bad service

I have been extremely disappointed with Santam’s customer service. I requested multiple callbacks, many of which never happened. When I was finally contacted, I was transferred repeatedly and promised to hear back within an hour something that never happened.

And when I finally speak to a representative, he had very little knowledge about the insurance products and tried to rush me into purchasing without explanation. When I asked for clarification, they said they would consult a specialist and then I never heard back.

If this is how new customers are treated, I have serious doubts about the support and service during a claim. I have decided to look for alternative insurers.
