Bad service

Good day,

I have been involved in a motor vehicle accident last year as a lady drove over a flickering red traffic light without stopping into my car. She apologised on the scene and said it is no issue as we are both insured at Santam. I immediately went to the police station and made a detailed statement under oath and even included a picture of how the accident happened. When following up on whether I have not received my co-payment, I was informed that the person which crashed into me has made a contradictory statement at the police (only 4 days after the accident took place) saying that I did not stop. This is simply not true. I then went to the police submitting another affidavit that the lady **** under oath. Santam has been extremely unhelpful and is stating that I should go the court for small claims. This is not supposed to be my problem as if Santam's assessor knew what he was doing, the facts and sequence of events would state clearly that they should rule in my favour. I am extremly disappointed in the service.
