Accident - 2 weeks and zero action
My daughter had an accident on 18 Sept 2015 - reported to Santam who had the car towed in (thumbs up for getting that done within 3 hours). On 23 Sept - zero progress, no attempt or contact made by Santam to have assessor sent to look at car. Promised me they would escalate. 28 Sept - phoned to enquire - STILL nothing done and zero progress. Had not even assigned the claim to area. 30 Sept - Assessor phoned to say that he will probably go out today (1 Oct) ...almost 2 weeks later and the car has not even been assessed. Escalation after escalation, yet still nothing.<br> I am very disappointed. I pay my insurance on time, every month, without fail, yet when there is a claim - there's an attitude of - we'll get to it when we get to it. And they are always so sorry for the inconvenience - but let us see how we can inconvenience you even further.
