Absorbatent Premium Increase without Empathy

I was alarmed to discover an over 30% increase of my home insurance. Upon enquiring was advised it was risk related. (???) Not happy but nevertheless requesting a possible renegotiation/consideration so that it may be affordable i was blatantly further refused & basically shut down in a take it or leave it scenario. They didn't even propose for example an access increase to manage the premium affordability. Extremely cold and unsympathetic. So much for them assuring you of cover and peace of mind irrespective of possible misfortune whilst under their watch!!!
