A pensioner pays premiums for a car that does not exist.

My father who was a decade long client of Santam, was involved in an accident in April. The accident meant that the car was s****ped. Santam paid the claim but is still deducting the premiums from him (a pensioner). He has phone them numerous times to get a repayment of his premiums but repayments is not forthcoming. Imagine paying insurance premiums on a car that you no longer have! I have tried to assist, by writing a complaint email. To 4 individuals that was involved in the claim. Yet no joy. How could this pensioner get the money back or is he simply going to be ignored forever whilst the premiums get deducted every month?
